Individual Responder Readiness
Most deployments will be brief, but here are some important items to consider:
Reliable child/pet care
1 week of prescriptions medications
Reliable child/pet care
Personal medical and first aid supplies
Have items available you may need for response
Be familiar with your packing list
Plan how you will assemble resources you need for response

Vaccinations
To help protect against particular infectious and zoonotic diseases, approved testing and vaccinations should be considered based on roles. Note that local requirements and needs may differ. Consult your facility’s zoonotic disease protocols and local health department for recommendations.
Packing
Supplies may be difficult to obtain in a disaster area, so the packing lists include a wide range of items to consider including. The specific items you will need will depend on many factors, including the type of incident you’re responding to and the conditions on the ground.
Individual Responder
Responders probably won’t need all items on this list
What you need to pack depends, in part, on the role you have been assigned (eg, veterinary bag)
The Crew Lead should work with individuals to determine team items vs individual items
